EMMY 2013. L'època daurada de la ficció televisiva

Aquest principi de segle serà recordat amb els anys com l'època daurada de la ficció televisiva. Durant tota la història de la televisió, que és relativament jove, s'han fet sèries extraordinàries (la BBC potser s'emportava el premi gros en tot això), però des de l'entrada d'HBO i altres cadenes similars la concentració de sèries de qualitat no havia estat tan alta. Si us hi  fixeu bé, la gent no comenta les últimes estrenes del cinema sinó que parla de la última temporada de "Game of Thrones", "Homeland" o "Breaking Bad", que sovint veuen per Internet o gràcies a algun amic que es va comprar la temporada sencera i la fa circular, a tall de recomanació. Això és televisió a la carta, el demés són ximpleries.

Ja han sortit les nominacions dels Emmy d'enguany, i les sèries més nominades han estat "Game of Thrones" i "American Horror Story: Asylum". També apareixen alguns clàssics dels últims anys, com ara "Mad Men", "Homeland", "Dowton Abbey" o "Modern Family", tot i que  ja van perdent una mica de força pel que fa al factor sorpresa o en la qüestió de l'impacte causat. De totes maneres, això no són els Òscars... i sovint s'ha premiat una sèrie quan ja feia temporades que funcionava, a manera de reconeixement ("24" o "Los Soprano"). Seguint aquesta lògina, la ja esmentada "Juego de tronos" hauria d'aconseguir amb justícia el premi gros, ja que amb la seva tercera temporada (se n'anuncien com a mínim tres més) ha aconseguit un gruix molt important de seguidors i una qualitat cohesionada i indiscutible. De totes formes, res és mai segur en els Emmy... El dia 22 de setembre tindrem la solució.
