Ja s'ha dit tot sobre els Òscars, però jo encara puc dir la meva. I ho faré ràpid i clar. La cerimònia, amb ritme (no va durar massa) però sense ànima. Billy Cristal es feia molta gràcia a si mateix, i també als amiguets allà asseguts, però menys als que estàvem a casa. Tot i així, va tenir algun moment brillant; zero en originalitat, però 10 en autoreciclatge. Els típics números musicals van brillar per la seva absència i ens vam haver de conformar amb una bonica interpretació de "A wonderful world" en el In Memoriam, i amb un espectacular número del Circ du Soleil... que va deixar amb ganes de més. Emma Stone, Gwineth Paltrow i Penélope Cruz van estar entre les millors vestides, mentre que Angelina Jolie ens ensenyava una cama escarrensida i Jennifer López deixava entreveure un mugró en Prime Time. Les noies de "Bridemaids" van fer acudits obcens arran del tamany dels Curt...metratges. Spielberg: zero òscars de dues pelis. "Harry Potter": zero òscars en set anys. Steve Jobs es va colar entre la gent del cinema desapareguda en el 2011. El millor de tot: els discursos de Plummer i Streep, el pacifisme del director iraní i un sketch sobre com va veure "El mago de Oz" el públic dels anys trenta. Tot plegat, un any més dels Òscars. Un any que serà recordat per la grandíssima nostalgia cap als inicis del cinema, just en l'època del 3D, les descàrregues per Internet i les desercions de les sales cinematogràfiques. No crec que l'any que ve els hi quedi massa d'aquest sentiment...
